everybody negotiates

u know what is negotiates?? its tawar menawar / berunding  ....
i think everyone in this world involved with this ..... today session i've learn about negotiates with our lovely and funny trainer, Mr Hisham .

Negotiation , it is an on going thing, no matter what it will happen anywhere. it can be happen between parent & child , employer vs employee, boyfriend vs girlfriend and so on. when you want to buy something , sometimes you will need to nego with the shopper, is it right ?? yeah its true. it's always happen to me. 

there's 2 types of negotiation = distributive & integrative negotiation
this both negotiation involved 4 fundamental concepts 
        1. BATNA- best alternative to negotiated agreement
        2. reservation price
        3. ZOPA - zone of possible agreement
        4. value creation through trades
orait all of this is the theory that we learn, next session is activity with apply the theory that we have learn before.  huhu we were divided into 6 group, and all of us were give with  3 different cases to work with. each group would give a role to play. this task was so fun with the new actress and actors, huhu.

my group case - employee vs employer .....  ziana (employee) has to meet amir  (employer) to take 3 month leave. this case so dramatic and funny with the acting from my group and the other group. all in this class, we keep laugh and laugh. huhu  it also happen to all group when they start to act. so much funny.

21 Dec 2010 - Public Speaking
Trainer = Mr Hisham Karim & kak nani

this session is the public speaking day for all of us .... mr hisham & kak nani have give the subject to talk according our group. my group's topic is Information technology. and I'm focusing in Pros And Cons of Information Technology. I'm very nervous , but i motivate myself by saying, all of us do the same thing. yeah its work, my nervousness is getting better . my turn is 2Oth, hehe then i release it all out ......

mr hisham was comment about my speech, he say that my slide show is good & and then he saw that i'm like reluctant to perform this 'show' , huhu  & the best is he say to me, I can do better than this and maybe i can be a better speaker , i'm feel so happy and feel more confident. Tq Mr Hisham. 

for the last session, Mr Hisham was announced 15 best speaker , i hope my name to be called, huhu but its ok, i hope i will try my best next time, i hope so.

we have a mock interview with the trainers ... at the early day, we have learn something the theory about interviewing skills & Technique & Mock Interview. .... we have been divided into 2 groups, which 1 group with Encik Lah and the other with Mr Faruk. 

2nd part for this session is we are going interviewed by Encik Lah and the other with Mr Faruk. I've been interviewed by Encik Lah.

in this session, we have learn how having a professional appearance that can boost the chance for the workplace success & also how not having it can lead to disaster. we also learn about the grooming for appropriate & inappropriate business attire. the grooming is about 1st impression and how you project yourself. for the grooming, both women and man are involved. Mdm Leilanie also touch a little bit about personal hygiene + over-all projection of self + body language

On the last session we have Dinner Table Etiquette. for this part, we have 2 model, Nazreen & Audi that helped Mdm Leilanie to demonstrate. there's 10 Do's & 10 Don't on the Dinner Table Etiquette.

One of the most important skill sets that a person must develop to be successful in 
today’s competitive business environment is Presentation Skills.



presentation ???  I think when  in primary school, we were being exposed about the presentation or talk in front of other people, isnt it??  until now, it is still going on. this skills is a learning process where we can get better and better. the perfect word is practice, practice and keep practice. in this session, we learn about how to make our presentation effective

  • plan and prepare your presentation
  • develop skills of speaking in a variety of situations, according to your needs
  • discreetly use notes and memory aids
  • use impactive visual aids
  • humors 
  • conquer nerves
  • maintain the interest of your audience
  • communicate effectively
  • present your case clearly and with enthusiasm

in group activity, all of us must give a talk according the topic given by Mdm Rusilawati. its start with easy topic and then end up with serious topic that we are not very familiar. so as a conclusion, we must read a lot and a bulk of information.

10 december 2010 - Effective resume & cover letter


For this session, We have learn about how to write an effective resume & cover letter.The resume is a tool you use to market yourself to being hired for a job. Your resume should be perfect, concise & simple. The main point are : 
  • we need to use the best word to describe something and to attracted the interviewer 
  • we should to be careful with how you play with your words/sentences + font + also the content
  • you only have 45sec to grab the attention 
  • your resume must N.A.S.HNeatness, Attractive, Simplicity, Honesty.


about the cover letter, this is your intro for your resume ... put the details. prefer to have 1 page only. Its like formal letter format. You can google for sample cover letter as a guide for you to create your own cover letter

This session thought us about how a meeting is handled and the sequence step to set a time for have the meeting. The person who involve during meeting is the chairman + secretary + board of director + the share holder. A lots of theory about this tOpic. Including about the notice of meeting.


It's quiet interesting for me, when the trainer was explained this entire thing and als0 how the secretary does the particular jobs to make the meeting is going smooth. And I hOpe, i will become a secretary ... hehe. I also love to take a class about accountancy and finance after I learn abOut this subject. I hope i will able to make it real . I hOpe so much. Because i will learn new things that not in  my expertise field. A lot of things that i've get  from this sessiOn. Tq prOf (◕‿-)

I was so impressed with our trainer for this day, Mr Hisham Karim. He's very funny person, such a comedian to me. His face looks like Eric Leong, hehehe can u imagine???? The day was full of joy and laughter. He also has the "pOwer" to read people just by asking a random question to all of us. About 70% he guesses it right. wOww I want to be like him. He also thought us a bit about the theory of public speaking. I can’t stop to laughing with his humors, plus when he talks with Nazreen about “Puding Raja”, Mr Hisham favourite food. 

Then we were given a quick task/activity by kak nani to draw anything that comes out from your mind. And then I draw my cat, Amina. She such an adorable cat. Every morning, she will wake me up from sleep by meow meow to me and also bite my hand. Huhu .For this activity, there’s 10 trainees that early finish their drawing need to go in front, then give a speech for 5 minutes. With no preparation. Good job for them.


After break, we have another task to present. This task does it in group. Each group were given a subject then described it with a creative way. At the end of this session, all of us were assigned to give a talk about 5 minutes according our subject. This is an individual task. My subject is Information Technology. So wish me good luck for that day 21 Disember ✿.

3rd & 6th december 2010 - Blogging 101

for this tOpic, the aim is " tO get participants Of this programme to blog". 
for those who already have their own blog, can use their blog for this topic. for those who dont have any blog, they must to create a new one .. huhu this is very interesting. for this session , we need to go the computer lab after we have the theory session in the morning. in the theory session we have been given a knowledge about blog + how to start a blog + the objectives .

by blogging, we can record anything and we can share with everyone (reader + follower) . the things that we share are experiences + story + opinions and some tips and whatever. like  Mdm Sita said the blog will reflect your personality and also show to other people about your interest and favourite .  by blogging also , it exercise writing skills and this skill will develop our self to become a good writer . then, when someone leave a best and motivated comment about our post, it's boost our self-confidence and we will response to it in positive way.

1st december 2010  - Introduction of Communication - "Skills for Empowering the Internet Generation"
Trainer = Mdm Nurliza & Mdm Farah

in this session, we have some ice breaking activity and we were divided into a  group. each group have 7-9 person . In the group, we were giving a task about what the 5 important things that we must to have when we were grounded in maroon island . then we discussed it and presented the outcome from our discussion. So based from our group discussion , we decided to have ....



  • a tent , as a shelter and protection from weather
  • a brand new lighter + big one , can be use to start a fire and also can be use as a signal to get the help
  • a pot , to boil the water
  • a mirror , as a tools in convert sea water to drink water
  • a knife , multi functional knife
for the evening session, we were going to discuss about our group's name + group cheers + logo's + visions +  board chart .... and the result is ..... and actually we have new group member, Hisham ... welcome hisham to our X x group.



2nd disember 2010 - Communication Concept and Skills - The Challenges Ahead"
Trainer = Mdm Nurliza & Mdm Farah


For 2nd day, we were going more to theory about the communication. Mdm Liza was discussed about the meaning and the barriers ( like a borderline) of communication. Examples of the barriers of communication are the gap generations, culture also the gender.  After the break for lunch , the session was continued with Mdm Farah. She talk's about the CommunicatiOn FrOm Islamic Perspective. there's so many information that i've learned that day . The conclusion is Allah tells us in the Quran that the words of a Muslim's speech are the finest and most acceptable. We also have grOup activity which is we create a poster and the title is based on the topic that already discussed with Mdm Farah.

now blogging such an routine ..... so many kinds of blog that we can find out  .....  that's a trillion of blogs out there ... and there's must be have  the best blog that u will be  find … no wonder  some blog has awarded with the best blog ... and through blogging, blogger can be famous and also can be a billionaire .. wOw


hOw tO attract mOre peOple tO yOur blOg ?? 

i think firstly we must have a great and powerful and also bombastic title of post. so other people feel interesting and also to grab the attention of  reader to read our post 

1st impression is the best and everyone like to see beautiful things, so decorate and design your blog pretty enough. Put on the smart layout, template and cute widget on your blog. Such as hit counter, calendar, digital clock, your photos. So the reader feel the attraction,

We also must have great and useful content that can be use and can help other people out there. Such as post something about your experience during work, your favourite things, your interest and also your reviews about movies and books ... sharing is caring right!!!

Make it fun on your blog by put games, songs or video clips.... let's make our reader or audience have fun with our blog

make a easy link to subscribe your blog, put a link of your blog at your Facebook profile and Tweeter, where your friend can get into your blog easily

  • i'm feeling very happy and very excited to enter this building
  • in this building is fully air conditioned ... very cool...
  • and we also can get a latest newpaper for free ... hehehe
